Making Games and Taking Names: March 2018

HELLO FANS AND FRIENDS OF ATHERIS,

We've been hard at work the last month and wanted to post some highlights of what we've been up to. We've got big things ahead of us at Atheris Games and we're super excited to share them.

MUTANT CROPS

Mutant Crops has been out for a little bit now and has received excellent reviews! We've resent all Kickstarter orders that were lost in transit and sent out our Print-and-Play files this month.

Please request an order from you local friendly local gaming store (FLGS) if you would like a copy. If you are unable to locate a local gaming store than you can also purchase the game via Amazon in the US here. The game is almost sold out of its first print run, which is very exciting!

Supernatural Socks

Supernatural Socks is a 15-30 minute set collection game for 2-4 players.

Supernatural Socks did well on Kickstarter in January. We're super excited to be making this game!

We've finished game development and are now working with a rulebook editor! We also sent out the PledgeManager for the game. Next month we should be able to get the files to the manufacturer. Things are going well. Though, we are a bit behind the internal schedule we set for ourselves. However, we feel we can make up time allotted for other steps down the line.

Finally, we had a potential licenser who is interested in getting the Polish language rights to the game.

Ruins of Mars

Ruins of Mars is a 1.5-2 hour medium weight strategy game for 2-4 players.

This month we've had a lot of work on Ruins of Mars. We contracted Sebastian to finish up more of the graphic design elements. We just got back some of the card iconography.

We're also looking for a new artist to work on finishing the rest of the artwork for the game as the previous artist, Ronan Le Fur, became too busy to finish the project with us.

Revenge at Ragnarok

We signed a deal with Ken Shannon (designer of Tournament At Camelot and Approaching Dawn: The Witching Hour) for Revenge at Ragnarok in January. The game has changed a ton since then but play testing is starting to go really well. The game has a ton of potential to be a really unique and interesting offering, which we cannot wait to share with the world.

Other News

In the past we've worked on signing advertisements in each quarterly issue of Casual Game Insider for 2018 (all of which Andrew also has articles in as well). We've now signed an agreement to advertise in another physical industry magazine, ICv2's Internal Correspondence. We love ICv2's industry information so we're glad to support them through our ad and also anxious to hear what retailers (who make up a large part of the magazine's viewership) think of our ad.

That's all for now!

We're looking forward to seeing what is happening with Atheris next month and sharing it with all of you! Thanks for reading!

UNTIL NEXT TIME,

THE ATHERIS GAMES TEAM
